The Meerman farm was established in 1882 by Benjamin Meerman. Next came Peter, then Ernest, then Steve and Sue Meerman. Their middle child, Jesse Meerman, and his family now run the dairy farm. The Meerman farm previously had a cheese plant and farm store, along with a herd share program from 2005-2018. In 2018 we switched to only selling milk to Horizon Organic. Since then we have been dreaming about getting back into direct marketing. We truly missed our customers and knowing the people who can benefit from our food. In 2022, we stopped selling to Horizon, so that we could have a Herd Share program again and we are so happy we took the leap of faith to do it!

Jesse is a 5th generation dairy farmer and his wife Betsy, is a Physician Assistant. They are active in their local church in Hudsonville, MI and together have 6 awesome children! God is so good.
